With all the different smartphones and the many games and utilities on the market today, it can be hard to figure out which apps are useful and which are a waste of time. The Warrior surveyed Sherwood students and discovered some of the best smartphone apps:

Brit+Co.: An app featuring tons of simple DIY projects, from fashion to cooking and everything in between. Most projects can be made from items found around the house or a quick trip to the craft store. The Brit+Co. staff also compiles lists of cool gadgets available for purchase. The app includes an option to “favorite” the best articles and share them via text, email and social networking.

Wanelo Shopping: Wanelo (Want, Need, Love), is a shopping app that lets users make a profile and save to lists what they want to buy.
