Sherwood lost, in the first match of the season against Walter Johnson on December 6 58-21, however junior Charlie Siarkas and seniors Sean Levy and Andrew Frumkin all pinned. The Warriors then lost to BCC 55-24 and to Damascus 63-15 in a tri-meet on December 13. Siarkas, Frumkin and sophomore Hunter Mueck pinned against BCC, and Siarkas pinned against Damascus as well.

The Warriors broke their losing streak on December 16 when the boys faced Northwood. Sherwood dominated the match with pins from sophomores Chase Wilson, Dimitri Guynn, juniors Billy Macheras, Mark Townsend, Siarkas, and seniors Jackson Downs, and Ryan Hale. Not only did all the pins but also the three forfeits by Northwood won the game, leaving the score at 69-10.

Siarkas had the fastest pin time (0:09) in the match against Northwood, and he also leads the team in points with 24.
