Sherwood competed in their first post season meet at Churchill on May 8, MCPS Championships. They competed against many competitive schools including, Walter Johnson and Whitman as their successful season with girls: 3-0 and boys: 1-2 ended. “With only an hour of counties before the rain started coming down, Lauren Woods had already won her first event for Sherwood,” said Que Kalantary. Sherwood’s last invitational of the season, Katie Jenkins, revealed two gold medals awarded to Andrew Sarvor and Grave McDonald in the quadrathalon. The ambitious and energetic team ran hard until eleven at night under the Sherwood stadium lights.
