The boys’ volleyball team is off to a good start, starting the season with a 6-0 record after most recently beating Magruder on April 1 in three sets, 25-23, 25-16 and 25-15. So far, the team is 6-0. The Warriors faced Clarksburg, a tough opponent, on March 23 and won in three sets, 25-21, 25-18 and 25-14. Two days later, the team faced another tough opponent, Richard Montgomery, and won in three sets, 25-21, 25-22 and 25-20.

“We have a strong start to the season against a lot of quality opponents,” said Coach Ben Sanger. “Playing a tough schedule will only help us get to the next level. If you want to be the best, you have the beat the best.”

On Friday, March 27, the Warriors beat Springbrook in three sets, 25-10, 25-11 and 25-20.  “So far we’ve been playing well and making few mistakes,” said senior Keegan Black. “But in order to keep winning we need to keep playing smart and incorporate new plays while continuing to play as a team.” The Warriors played Paint Branch on March 30 and won in three, 25-7, 25-15 and 25-15.
