The Warriors Commence Their Spring Season

The Warriors prepared to start their season off on March 20th with a game against Blake, but the game was canceled and moved to a later date due to unseasonable snow. The boys will play Blake on March 22nd at Blake, and Watkins Mill on the 23rd at Sherwood.
The team has put in a lot of hard work and dedication to prepare for their opening game. The Warriors scrimmaged against teams such as Poolesville, Reservoir, Urbana and Oakdale. The boys won some and lost some, but the hustle and perseverance showed throughout every game. Senior Captains Grant Fricke, Luke Logan, Jake Guiffree, Jimmy Muir and Chris Chiogioji stepped up and led the team through these matches.
“Although we didn’t win all our games we really worked hard and gave it our all. We utilized every minute of the games to improve our overall play,” said Fricke. “We just hope to have an undefeated season, and I believe we can do it.”
