Sherwood Confessions

In late 2012, a new phenomenon called confession pages, spread among high school students. These pages allowed for people to anonymously submit posts that would later appear on a social media account like Twitter or Facebook. This trend had even reached Sherwood during the current senior’s freshman year. As a tribute and throwback to this idea, the Warrior created an online form where seniors could anonymously send in thoughts, memories, etc.

1. People need to learn how to walk on the right side of the hallway
2. I hit a car in the parking lot and didn’t leave a note
3. I started all of the bathroom parties
4. The back of the parking lot looks like a Ford commercial with all of the big trucks lined up.
5. Whoever drives the red Mustang revs his engine everyday while speeding through the parking lot–something I won’t miss at Sherwood!
6. Throwback to when the Seniors lost the homecoming halls and seniors never lose. 🙁
7. I wouldn’t have passed History if it wasn’t for Mrs. Shevitz
8. Class of 2016 was the greatest class to graduate Sherwood in a long time

10. This was nothing like a Disney Channel Original Movie. None of those schools had security guards on golf carts. 2/10. My parents want their tax money refunded. Good day.

17. When I have to “go” I always use the downstairs C hall bathrooms.

19. when Nathan Dessalgne spilled Ketki’s coffee all over her and she left school to get a new coffee and a change of clothes (that was literally last week but I’m still laughing)
20. It turns me on when Bob asks me for a pass
21. Remember when we all were part of a different friend group
22. Katelyn Dean’s friend group is the best crowd in the entire school
23. One time I saw Kinnetz at Safeway wearing cutoff sweatpants-shorts while it was snowing
24. BSU is the best thing to ever happen at Sherwood

26. I thought a group of people in the hallway were Belgian Exchange students. Turns out they were just freshmen I’d never seen before.
27. Remember during the Rock n’ Roll Assembly when Mrs. Williams accidentally sat on that kid during musical chairs??
28. Tbh couples at Sherwood need to find some privacy. Enough with the pda!!
29. I love my 9th grade English teacher, Ms. Russell!
30. The downstairs K hall bathroom and the science bathrooms are the absolute worst
31. When Ketki consistently walks into class late with Starbucks–never fails!
32. Sometimes when I forget to put on deodorant I use hand sanitizer instead.

34. Class of 2016 had the biggest tree huggers 😉
35. I time out my “plops” to when the other person in the stall flushes… No sound is heard.
36. Tip to underclassmen…the golf cart CAN and WILL reach 7/11 be wary
37. The Sherwood parking lot makes me feel insecure about my driving skills 🙁

40. 2015-2016 school year is the year bathroom parties got too hard that the school almost got sued
41. If the security guards want to do something really productive they should monitor hall collisions by telling people to stay on the right side of the hall.
42. If you say you’ve never taking a selfie on the chromebooks. You’re lying.
43. My teacher had a extra stack of warrior newspapers… I stole the stack and cut out all of the California tortilla coupons. I like queso, what can I say.
44. I feel bad for teachers on carts who have to deal with hallway traffic.
45. You’re not a redneck. Stop pretending.
46. When Nick Dunwoody’s pants unbuttoned during the Rnr show… Most unforgettable moment ever
47. You are not a Sherwood girl if you haven’t watched an episode gossip girl
48. .. I wouldn’t have passed without the social studies department.
49. One time I was walking down the hallway and I saw a perfectly cracked egg, no shells just egg, sitting in the middle of the hallway. This is my school.
50. Everyone’s biggest concern in fall 2014 was which hallway Yik Yak was able to work.
51. Sometimes I fail math tests just so I can go in at lunch to see Winiarz.
52. That awkward moment when McKeldin stares into your soul after talking about “unprotected sex.”
53. One time my arm pit stains were so bad that I poured water all over myself and told people I fell in a puddle.
54. On the Spanish exchange, I got assaulted by a pug. :/
55. One time I was taking a shower and my French exchange student walked in. I screamed and he ran out.
56. When you walk into the wrong classroom with 100% confidence :/:/:/:/
57. Remember when our bus to New York got hit by a truck and we all had to take a subway??? #APUSH2k14
58. Sometimes I fake laugh at my teachers’ jokes just so they will like me.
59. Tim Altaner on the Price is Right is the best thing that’s ever happened to this school
60. When you see someone you know in the halls, but you have to wait the appropriate amount of time before saying hi or hitting them with that quick smile.

62. Mikayla Saur’s friend group belongs on Gossip Girl
63. Thank you, Aaron Cooper, for always bringing your GameCube to school on days we do nothing in class
64. Winiarz is the best teacher to have senior year
65. Sherwood Softball is the best sport this school has and they never get any love smh
66. When you try and say hi to someone in the hallway but they don’t respond and you just gotta be like “my mama still love me doe”.
67. Meeting Dale Thomas has been one of the best things to ever happen to me. I don’t know what I would do without him.
68. When people take pictures of me without telling me it makes me want to punch a hole through a brick wall and then pick up one of the bricks I knocked out of the wall and hit you upside the head with it.
69. I’ll never understand why Tony Niverth was not in Mr. Sherwood he would’ve been the best

71. When I wear an outfit that I’m feeling myself in I usually thot walk to my classes and play Beyoncé in my head.

81. A girl took my phone thinking it was hers but she didn’t quite *understand* what was going on (if you catch my drift) so I had to snatch out of her dress where she was holding it. I wonder if she’ll buy me a new case
