by Kaleigh Homer ’15

This season the Lady Warriors have managed to go undefeated. The girls are going to playoffs in the number one seed as division champs with a record of 12-0.  The Lady Warriors’ are planning to take things further this year then last. The girls lost to Winston Churchill in regional’s last year, but this year the team has really been working hard to go to states. “Our offense is looking amazing and our defense is coming along well. There’s no way we’re not coming home with out at least a regional championship if we play to our full potential,” said senior Becca Dunwoody. The girls will be facing the winner of the Einstein vs. Whitman game on Saturday and if they win they will play Wotton. The girls have lost in regional’s for the past three years. “This year we can defiantly do it. We’ve been working really hard in practice to go undefeated in the regular season and as far as we can in payoffs,” said junior Emily Kenul.
