On February 17 at the Prince George’s County Sports and Learning Complex in Largo, Maryland, the Sherwood Swim and Dive Team competed in the 4A West Regional Championships. Senior Anna Kolanowski set a new meet record in the 200-yard freestyle while freshman Morgan Hill also set a new record in the 100-yard butterfly. Seniors Andrew Braker and Peyton Brailsford finished sixth and seventh respectively in the 50-yard freestyle. Over the girls won while the boys finished second overall in the region.

On February 26, the team participated in the State Championship at The University of Maryland College Park. It was a very similar story to the one at Regionals as Senior Anna Kolanowski and freshman Morgan Hill became state champions and set new records in their respective events again. The girls also came in second in the 200-yard medley relay and won the 400-yard freestyle relay. It was a good way to finish off their impressive season as the girls finished second overall in the state.
