Date Lab

Love is in the air, Sherwood! Here at The Warrior we thought we would try to create a love connection between the outgoing new kid, senior Cameron Chester, and straight-A varsity athlete, junior Natalie Sebeck.

About the Daters

A little bit of background:

Cameron: I moved here from Utah about seven months ago. I am very athletic. I am a Mormon and an eagle scout. I’ve played the piano for 10 years and plan on continuing my talent.

Natalie: I play volleyball, basketball and lacrosse for Sherwood. I’m a straight A student and a great cook.

What do you enjoy?

C: I enjoy playing golf, baseball, volleyball, basketball, snowboarding, four-wheeling and working. I’m always up for a challenge!

N: I love stamp collecting, TV dramas, long walks on the beach and a good joke, of course. “What’s green and has wheels? Grass. I lied about the wheels.”

What’s your type?

C: The girl has to have a solid personality and be fun to be around. I look for someone who is very nice to everyone and doesn’t have that “I’m better than you” attitude. Oh, and I’m a sucker for blonde and brunette girls.

N: Well I’m 5’10″ so I guess I look for someone who’s tall.

About the Date

First impressions?

C: I definitely wasn’t expecting it to be her. She was down to earth and polite.

N: I didn’t expect him. We have mutual friends so I knew of him, I just didn’t know him. It was nice.

Did the conversation flow smoothly?

C: At times, I felt like I was asking most of the questions. Maybe it was because she was nervous, but I definitely think she would have been more comfortable if we were with a group, rather than a date.

N: It was good. It was pretty easy to talk to him.

Overall, what do you think of the date?

C: I’d give the date an eight out of 10. First of all, she’s really cute and she has a good personality. She seems really funny. I like her. I’d definitely go on a second date.

N: I would absolutely do it again. He’s a good guy.

Could you see yourself with this person?

C: Yeah, I could see myself liking her; she’s a good girl.

N: Yeah, probably.
