Warrior Staffer Hunter Moore makes his picks for this week’s NFL Conference Championship Games

Hunter’s Picks

AFC:

Ravens vs. Patriots- In a rematch of the AFC championship from last year, the Ravens look to avenge their three-point loss from last season, and carry on the ride of Captain Ray Lewis. The Ravens shocked the nation in last week’s game against the Broncos, as the Patriots crushed the Texans. Lewis will lead the team in tackles and the Ravens advance 31-28.

NFC:

49ers vs. Falcons- The 49ers advance to the NFC championship for the second year in a row, coming of what could be another record-setting game by QB Colin Kaepernick. Falcons QB Matt Ryan has taken the Falcons to the championship after three unsuccessful trips to the playoffs. 49s’ RB Frank Gore will be the difference-maker and the 49ers hail 28-21.

Alec’s Picks

AFC:

The Ravens look to avenge a loss to the Patriots in a rematch of last years AFC Championship game. Unfortunately the Patriots are too strong for the Ravens. The Patriots have never lost a AFC championship game and there offense is clicking on all cylinders. Wes Welker and Aaron Hernandez will be too much for the Ravens defense to handle. Patriots win 35-28.

NFC:

Last week Matt Ryan got his first playoff win of his career. The Falcons faced a tough offense led by beast Marshawn Lynch and Quarterback Russel Wilson. The 49ers and Colin Kaepernick run the same type of offense as the Seahawks so the Falcons defense will be ready for the speed option. Everyone is expecting the 49ers defense to be a difference maker in the game but the Falcons defense will suprise everyone and stop Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers offense. Falcons prevail 24-21.
