Peyton’s back in the Game

In football, one season you’re in and the next season you’re out. The latest uncertainty is injured star quarterback, Peyton Manning. While his younger brother Eli Manning led the New York Giants to Super Bowl XLVI, he is under constant speculation about what his next move is going to be since he was just cleared to play by his doctors, but not by Colts owner Jim Isray, who posted on Twitter Friday morning, “Peyton has not passed our physical nor has he been cleared to play for The Indianapolis Colts.” There is still a chance that he won’t be playing for Indianapolis since the Colts owe Manning a $28 million roster bonus on March 8. If they don’t pay it, they could risk losing him in free agency, so I ask the question, what is to come for his future in the NFL? There are plenty rumors swarming around him so far. I’m hopeful for truth when it comes to the possibility of our very own Redskins signing him, but the list of contenders includes the Arizona Cardinals and the New York Jets. Since we’ve only gotten all talk and no action, there is no knowing what’s going to happen next with this four time MVP, we can only anticipate what big move he is going to make next.
