Students Display Best Rides at Annual Car Show

On a day that AP exams ended and the school year began to show signs of winding down, the Sherwood student body came out en masse, through the sparkling rain, to the “Sherwood Daze” annual Car Show.

Faculty members and distinguished community members served as judges and gave out nine awards ranging from “Clunker” to “Hot Rod,” to “Best Truck.”

The Show’s highest award, “Best in Show,” went to senior Brandon Osbourne for his Ferrari for which he received a $50 gas card courtesy of Fletcher’s British Petroleum station on Georgia Avenue. Photos of other winners and other great rides are below.
